Wow! Food, service, atmosphere - incredible. It was exactly what we wanted for our first night in Venice.
We ordered the octopus to start, and two pasta dishes - which were all incredible. We also had a bottle of wine to share (hence the price per person). We finished with a trio of chocolate which was out of this world! 10/10 would recommend this restaurant.
The best dining experience I’ve had in Italy. I’m so glad I found this place. What an incredible hole in the wall Osteria serving up the most delicious food. It renewed my love for Venetian cuisine after having some subpar experiences at overpriced tourist traps on my last visit. Everything was phenomenal— the bread, the Tagliatelle frutti di mare, and especially the unique rosemary panna cotta with brown sugar and Black Sea salt (that sounds like a lot of flavors, but they’re very delicately crafted, it’s a must try). They even gave me a complimentary limoncello shot. I love this place so much
One of the better meals I had in Venice… this is a little farther from the tourist center and was mostly full when we were there. People were waiting for tables to be open as they passed by.
For 100 euros we had 1 antipasti, 1 primi, a big secondi steak, a dessert, 2 glasses of wine, and 2 coffees to cap the meal. All courses were good with the Rosemary Panna Cotta being the highlight of the entire meal. Great seafood! Highly recommended!!!
The octopus was tender, the tuna buttery, the pasta had so much flavour, the people were lovely polite and helpful. All round brilliant place. That rosemary panacotta is something to write home about
Update 2023:
Foods are still wonderful, please try Capriccio die orata, very delicate, the seasoning is really refreshing. And Panna Cotta! Definitely A Must in this restaurant (although quite expensive) but this is the best Panna Cotta I've ever tried, so milky but still lightly and with pistachio and salt on top -- such a balancing symphony in mouth. Warmly recommended!

Great small restaurant, away from crowded streets, where you can enjoy a good meal. A little expensive but the food is really good and fresh.
My Tagliatelle with seafood is amazing, well cooked and seasoned and portion is also perfect.
Home made Tiramisu is quite expensive (7 💶!) but the taste is not that amazing...
The waiters here are also very friendly.
I would definitely visit here next time 🙂 but not ordering Tiramisu again ;D

Spectacular food in a very special setting. We absolutely loved our evening here... away from the crowds of Venice. Simple menu with excellent local seafood based meals. We had the duck ragu, the shrimp and zucchini gnocchi, and the turbot/rhombo. The fish was spectacular. I would go again and again.
Truly a special experience. We came for lunch and the restaurant is located on a quiet plaza where you can hear the birds singing. No tourists in sight! The food was incredible and they split the pasta portion for us to share on two plates which was much appreciated. Best aperol spritz we have had in Italy too!
Possibly our new favourite restaurant in Venice! Absolutely stunning setting - a hidden courtyard away from the bustle. The menu was perfectly short and simple and clearly changes according to what’s fresh. This is a great sign in contrast to the wearied and lengthy menus translated into several languages you see all over Venice. The staff were incredibly friendly and had good knowledge of the menu. I had the Venetian seafood appetiser which was in an different league to most others I have tried, followed by the gnocchi, which was homemade and beautifully soft. A very special lunch, we will certainly return on future trips to Venice!
